Exciting Opportunity: Systems and Process Specialist for a Renowned Pharmaceutical Client in Kaiseraugst, Switzerland!
General Information:
- Start Date: ASAP, no later than June 1, 2024
- End Date: 2 years with a technical end date after 12 months
- Workplace: Kaiseraugst
- Workload: 100%
- Remote/Home Office: Minimum 3 days onsite required
- Travel: None
- Team Size: 4
- Criminal Record Check: Required
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate technical support, system-related issues, and user training in logistics operations.
- Participate in global supply-chain management projects; support UAT, system monitoring, and maintenance.
- Lead the operational implementation of new projects with comprehensive documentation and training.
- Drive best practices in distribution processes, focusing on lead time and inventory optimization for over 500 clinical studies and CHF 900 million in inventory.
- Ensure compliance and maintain standards between enterprise systems (e.g., SAP) and external logistics systems.
- Develop and implement system and process strategies, manage interface monitoring, issue resolution, and daily operations continuity.
- Serve as primary IT contact, manage escalations, own robotics process automation, and oversee advanced analytics and reporting.
- Foster a learning and collaboration culture, act as a consultant within the distribution organization.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or supply chain field or relevant experience.
- 5-7+ years of operational experience in clinical supply chain, distribution, and ERP deployments.
- Proficiency in SAP supply chain modules, IRT, and middleware systems like TIBCO.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical supply chain distribution processes, industry best practices.
- Experience in agile project environments and LEAN/OE.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage with senior leadership.
- Proactive, solution-oriented team player.
Nice to Haves:
- APICS or SCOR certification, or experience in Operational Excellence, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies.
