SAP HANA ETL Dev - freelance - Remote

The position is for 6 months with possible extensions, the position is completely remote - but you would need to work Central European Hours

Description:

We are seeking a truly senior developer who can support our client in resolving solution issues and propose strong solutions within a limited time frame. The desired candidate should possess expertise in various areas including Data Integration (ETL/ELT) Platforms, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA Database, SQL, and have proficiency in B2-level English. The candidate will be integrated into the client's team and will be accountable for various responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure the design of HANA solutions aligns with best practices and is scalable, performant, and supportable.
* Coach junior members of the chapter to enhance their skills in general HANA/NDSO/CV development.
* Collaborate with the Head of Enterprise Data Services, Data Delivery Manager, and Lead SAP Engineer to inform HANA strategy and contribute to the component roadmap.
* Create and maintain HANA deliverables and own the NDSO design and build.
* Provide support for the HANA platform during core hours and via an on-call rota outside of core hours.
* Work closely with the BI and MI teams to deliver business value through the HANA platform.
* Attend and contribute to data design authority workshops to ensure alignment of data deliverables with the enterprise data model.
* Collaborate with the 'My Data' Product owner to ensure the fulfillment of the vision as part of SAP development.

Qualifications:

* Extensive experience in SAP HANA development and implementation.
* Proficiency in Data Integration (ETL/ELT) Platforms and SAP Analytics Cloud.
* Strong SQL skills.
* Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English at B2 level or higher.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and provide mentorship to junior members.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to strategic discussions.
* Proven track record of delivering scalable and performant solutions.
