Description:

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical leadership and subject matter expertise in Cloud environments, focusing on enterprise-scale systems. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, and implementing security solutions for multi-cloud systems and workloads with public cloud providers such as Azure and AWS. You will collaborate closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure the security posture of cloud environments aligns with industry best practices, standards, compliance, and regulations.

Responsibilities:

* Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in Cloud environments, particularly Azure and AWS, focusing on security best practices, compliance, and regulations.
* Design and implement security solutions for multi-cloud systems and workloads with public cloud providers, including Azure and AWS.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, infrastructure, development, database, and operations, to ensure effective security measures are in place.
* Work across various cloud security domains such as Cloud Security Posture Management, Identity and Access Management, Data Protection, Data Loss Prevention, and Incident Response Automation.
* Plan, design, and implement security solutions for SaaS, PaaS, Microservice Security, and custom scripting around cloud environments.
* Hands-on experience with MS Sentinel, Plunk, KQL, and Azure cloud.
* Direct Computer Science education (Bachelors+) OR equivalent experience.
* Understanding of cloud security and assessment methodologies.
* Strong engineering background with hands-on experience in Microsoft public cloud services.
* Scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
* Follow and understand defined security processes, train other team members, and contribute to process improvement.

Requirements:

* Hands-on experience with Microsoft public cloud services and strong engineering background.
* Understanding of cloud security and assessment methodologies.
* Ability to work closely with other project team roles.
* Scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
* Nice to have: Office 365 operational and generic email security experience, CSPM tool experience, understanding of DevOps concepts, hands-on experience with public cloud providers, security engineering experience in IAM, SOC, DLP domains, familiarity with compliance/regulations such as ISO 2700x, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, etc., Security Certifications such as AZ-900, AZ-103, AZ-500, MS-500, MS-100, MS-101, AWS certified security specialty, CISSP, CCSK/SSCP.

Nice to have:

* Office 365 operational and generic email security experience.
* CSPM tool experience (Defender for Cloud, PaloAlto Prisma).
* Understanding of concepts of DevOps, cloud security, and their assessment methodologies.
* Hands-on experience with public cloud providers (Azure, AWS) services.
* Security engineering experience in at least IAM, SOC, DLP domains.
* Understanding of at least one compliance/regulation such as ISO 2700x / PCI DSS / HIPAA / HITRUST / GDPR / SOX / FedRAMP.
* Nice to have 1+ Security Certification such as AZ-900, AZ-103, AZ-500, MS-500, MS-100, MS-101, AWS certified security specialty, Professional Security Certifications such as CISSP, CCSK / SSCP.
* ServiceNow integration, AzureDevops, administration experience.
