• Cross-referencing & Analysis of Safety related requirements for Rail infrastructure items for Driving on sight (Fahren auf Sicht) betwwen BOStrab, TR SIG ZA and CENELEC EN 50129 norms.
• Creation of Filemaker 19 bespoke App to aid in visualising a cross-reference & analysis of functions & requirements between VDV-Schrift 336-1 & VDV Schriften 331 with additional categorisation of safety impact of VDV 331 relating to the functions and requirements to Driving on sight. App was fully documented and commented in German and English.

• Technical Lead for 6 LCC/RAMS Engineers in the rail industry for a Swiss Rail manufacturer on specific projects for overall train aspects.
• Ensuring overall quality of technical content and delivery of RBD’s, FMEA’s and FTA’s for all train systems. Both for reports and technical models on a functional approach.
• Responsible for the integration and interface consistency of FBS-PBS systems across the train using known rail standards. EN15380-1/2/3/4/5 in addition with standards EN60300, ASD S2000M, S3000L, S4000P.
• Highlighting and providing solutions for discrepancies between FBS-PBS to the end client.
• Delivered reports and documentation as per contract on time.

• Determination of coverage, discrepancies and shortfalls between US Rail Standards of FRA (Federal Railroad Administration) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) requirements and EU Standards 50126 and equivalent.
• Requirements and specification generation, integration and implementation of LSAR database specific to rail industry.
• Produced ILS and RAM plan documentation for specific contracts based on multiple standards including, EN 50126, EN 60300, ASD S2000M, S3000L, S4000P, EN 15380-1/2/3/4/5
• ILS and RAM support for contracts and offers.

• Consultant responsible for developing Depot RAMS documentation regarding RAM and Safety aspects, Identifying the key stumbling blocks of integrating a RAMS plan for Depots based in customer requirements,
• Developing and decomposing the engineering and project requirements were met for aspects of RAMS,
• Integrating RAMS engineering for the depot with civil engineering partners on site in Riyadh and Dubai,
• Maintaining the defined standards as per contract were met and adhered to. E.g. EN 50126,
• Assessment and initial draft of identifying Hazards and developing Hazard Plan for Depots.

• Liaison with the customer, and sub-suppliers to determine the best and optimised RAM analysis available,
• Selection of sub-suppliers through, Business Awards based on RAM requirements and analyses ensuring fulfilment of requirements using DOORS,
• Writing of and ensuring maintenance requirements are validated, verified and traceable and integrated at a system level,
• Coordinating RAM team and steering RAM processes inline with international standards.

• Participate in Reviews to ensure requirements are met, and RAMS/LCC philosophy is employed,
• Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to determine failure methods for safety cases,
• FME(C)A analysis to determine failure modes and to identify improvement to design and maintenance tasks,
• Use of standards in a/w CENELEC EN 50126, EN 61025, EN 60812.
