Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria and with its population of 1.32 million is the 13th largest capital city in the EU. Sofia Urban Mobility Center (SUMC) is a Sofia Municipality’s company which oversees the public transport of Sofia and operates large fleet of 755 buses, 124 trolleybuses, 324 trams, and 3 metro lines. The public tender procedure for a new integrated Automated Fare Collection and Video Surveillance System in Sofia`s public transport was initialized in May 2017 with 10 consortiums and companies, in July 2018 Sofia Urban Mobility Center ranked first the consortium CNS - Sofia Ticketing System and in December 2018 signed a contract for BGN 73.2 million ($43.8 million/37.4 million euro). The contract scope covers design, delivery and installation of AFC SW & HW and video surveillance equipment for overground transport, metro stations, ticket offices, and distribution channels. From September 2018 to June 2019 as an Interim COO | Project Director of CNS STS Consortium managed the program setup, initiation, and successful completion of first 2 project phase: (1) As-Is Analysis of existing 2 AFC systems in overground and underground transport, and (2) Design of To-Be Business Model and Functional Architecture of the new Sofia Ticketing System, which will serve as common base for further smart city and mobility-as-service integrations.

In May 2019 ABI acquired the Albanian subsidiary of National Bank of Greece (NBG AL) and initiated an IT Separation, Migration, and Merger Program, aimed to separate the NBG AL customer and product data from the centralised NBG Temenos T24 | SAP environment in NBG Data Center in Athens, and to migrate and merge them with the ABI's iFlex FlexCube environment in ABI Data Center in Tirana. As an external Advisor to the ABI Management managed the preparation, alignment, and approval of IT Separation and Merger Plan and setup of 4 program streams - (1) CBS Migration (2) Migration of SAP FI, CRM, and BW (3) IT Infrastructure (AD, MS Exchange, etc) (4) Other IT system migration - SWIFT, Legal, Collection, etc. Supervised the project streams and advised the ABI management during the project stages, several mocks and rehearsals, and final cut-off and go-live. The IT Separation, Migration, and Merger Program was successfully completed at the end of April 2019 and now the ABI and NBG AL are running their unified operations under the ABI brand.
