Since five years i work as an independent graphic designer, illustrator and animator on own projects as well as for clients. Two years of that time i worked in a Frankfurt based agency where i worked on webbased animations for the car industry.

I studied graphic design, animation and illustration at the academy of art and design in Offenbach. Within my time studying as well as after i spend my time between applied, product oriented as well as experimental, artistic graphic design and animation. By this i am very flexibel with my skills.
From 2014 to 2015 i was working as an animator for a Frankfurt based agency. There i was specialist in webbased webbanners for car companies, doing flash and after effects based animations.
Recently i work a lot as a free illustrator, logo designer as well in the sector of experimental animation.

Dear Ladies & Gentleman,

My name is Veit Laurent Kurz, I am 37 year s old living in Berlin, Germany. Last year my wife and I resettled back to Berlin after living in New York for several years. I am German, who grew up south of Frankfurt am Main, Hesse.
Since several years I have a career in the arts which I also studied at Frankfurts Städelschule. Besides beeing active in the field of Art, I worked various jobs in the field of Design and Advertisement. As a freelancer I made web-based animations for the car industry and showreels for auction houses. I studied digital media at HFG Offenbach in the field of Graphic Design, Animation and Illustration which gave me a good and flexibel base to work in that field. Besides knowing how to use the Adobe Suite with focus on Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign and After Effects, I have a basic knowledge in The coding language Processing which originated in JavaScript. I see myself as a good Allrounder technically and with view to creative output. I am as well very good working and communicating within a team and in exchange with clients. Besides my practice in agencies, I have worked in various collaborations where a good communication and social dynamic is key. I would be happy to be part of your team.
