Description of the role  Development of payload fairings for 4.4m Vulcan rocket.

My actual job is to help RUAG coordinate the various teams involved in the development of the payload fairing for the new Vulcan rocket being made in the United States. My role requires not only the proposal and implementation of various alternative ideas but also the budgeting of the total mass of the fairing and the writing of the technical notes involved.
Most of the job is done in Zurich but I am also tasked with making sure that the parts
designed by the UK team and the subcontractors are up to the specification required. To this purpose I am required to plan meetings between the different stakeholders and to ensure that the tool chain is up to date with the last revision of the project.
