Über mich

Hello,

I would like to be considered for positions of SAP PI/PO Integration Expert/Architect/Lead/Manager or SAP MDM/MDG Specialist in Germany/rest of EU.

I do not need sponsorship to work in Germany/rest of EU (except UK, Ireland and Denmark) if I get a job contract of at least a year anywhere in EU. I can apply for the EU Blue Card as a highly educated skilled worker. The EU Blue Card is a scheme meant for non-EU nationals and permits the holder to travel within EU, EEA and Schengen areas (the EU Blue Card functions as a Schengen visa).

http://www.eu-bluecard.com/eu-blue-card-germany/
https://www.apply.eu/BlueCard/Germany/

The German Embassy has indicated a period of up to 2 weeks for processing the application for the EU Blue Card of Germany. The French Embassy has also indicated a time period of 1-2 weeks to process the application for the EU Blue Card of France.

So, I can join in a contract/permanent role in Germany/France/NL soon. Besides being fluent in English, I also have knowledge of basic German and French. I have past experience of working in Europe (Denmark, Switzerland and Italy).

I have experience of 12+ years in SAP XI/PI/PO, including at Tier 1 global consultancies and renowned Systems Integrators, viz. IBM, Accenture, Capgemini, T-Systems, etc. I have functioned as SAP PI/PO 7.40 Integration Manager/Lead in global SAP implementations and roll-outs. It includes functioning as SAP PI 7.40 Architect/SME at BHP Billiton, the world's largest mining company. I have worked in SAP integration projects using SAP PO/PI 7.5/7.40/7.31/7.11/7.1/7.0/XI 3.0 since 2006. My most recent project was as an SAP PI/PO 7.5 expert in a migration project involving 110 interfaces from PI 7.0 (dual-stack) to PO 7.5 (Java-only stack) recently. I also hold a global SAP certification in XI 3.0.

I also have skills in SAP MDM 7.1, SAP MDG, SAP MII and SAP Portal. All these are modules in SAP NetWeaver in which I specialize since 2004. I attended trainings at SAP in XI 3.0, MDM 5.5 and MDG. I have worked in IT since 1998. My overall experience is 20+ years, including in a managerial role in the Manufacturing sector (in a JV with Gruppo La Perla, the renowned Italian fashion multinational).

I attended trainings in continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt and Lean Management. I am also a Certified ScrumMaster.

As the sole SAP PI 7.40 Architect/SME/Technical Integration Specialist at BHP Billiton in my most recent role, I was responsible for governance, strategy and high level architectural design of the nearly 400 interfaces in the 1SAP landscape, spread across the global businesses of BHP. I also liaised with the offshore vendor development teams to review technical artifacts and ensure that they were in compliance with established standards and guidelines, which I updated regularly. It included high level design for integration of SAP with third party cloud applications (e.g. Page Up) and SAP SuccessFactors.

I had also functioned as SAP PI/PO 7.40 Integration Manager/Lead on behalf of a Tier 1 global consultancy in a global SAP roll-out for SABMiller in Australia before that. I had functioned as SAP XI/PI Team Lead for the first time at IBM in 2006.

Below is a list of my SAP projects.

- Oil & Gas: BHP Petroleum, ADCO (Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Oil Operations, a unit of ADNOC, one of the world's top ten oil producers)
- FMCG: Unilever, Nestle, Arla Foods, SABMiller
- Automotive: Fiat, Bridgestone
- Telecom: T-Mobile, Telstra, Telekom Malaysia
- Mining & Metals: BHP Billiton, ThyssenKrupp
- Retail/Postal: Post Danmark (T-Mobile, Inc. can also be included due to the very best
of retailers involved, viz. Wal*Mart, Office Depot, Target, Amazon, Costco, BestBuy,
Follett, CarToys, etc. on the one hand, and business partners, viz. Samsung, Sony
Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola, LG, HTC, PCD, Blackberry, Garmin, etc. on the other)
- Utilities: Anglian Water Systems (AWS)

Best Regards
