• Represented the firm at the inaugural Deutsche Bank Hackathon in Berlin, coordinating contact information and Wi-fi access for the event
• Facilitated open communication and discussion prior to the Hackathon between stakeholders such as compliance, legal, CISO and control functions, using feedback to assess and promote technical understanding of need for future changes in business services, private wealth and commercial clients, products and systems
• Prepared presentations on API concepts at competitor banks and leading technology firms for senior legal in cyber security IP, enabling the writing up of the terms & conditions to access of bank’s API as well as the terms & conditions for its usage
• Drafted a due diligence model for on-boarding of potential start-ups, considering RTS drafts under PSD2 scope by the European Banking Authority (EBA) extracting the most relevant points into a conceptual presentation also serving as a guideline on which regulatory matters the bank would need to apply to
• Analysed the EBA and Berlin Group comments and discussions on PSD2 therein with senior architect in TZE
• Worked with Product Owner and team to define Minimum Viable Product and subsequent priorities using story mapping
• Analysed business processes; identified alternative solution, assessed feasibility and recommended new approaches after consulting with the firm’s Bitcoin expert in New York
