Setup, configure, manage, implement & support Windows/SQL Server High availability Failover Clustering, Database Replication, Mirroring and log shipping and Always On.
• Provide database administration on a daily basis for all SQL Server versions (2000, 2005, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2014, 2016) for Production and R&D environments including Database Server/Client installs and upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning, database backup and recovery, job scheduling, maintenance tasks, licensing, warranty support, troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Kerberos, SSL and TLS authentication configured on SQL Server 2012.
• Creating Jobs, Alerts, SQL Mail Agent for the DB maintenance.
• Develop and maintain documentation and standards, including Disaster recovery documentation for critical systems and ensure SLAs defined for the business are met.
• Proactively handle management of production support mission-critical issues and ensure proper communication and coordination interacting with support teams
• Proactively participate to support production and development databases for dispersed global offices in India/Asia Pacific (APAC) and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
• Work closely with infrastructure teams (Network, Security, Systems, Applications) to ensure overall system stability and 99.9% system uptime.
• Provide administration for Oracle 11g and 12c databases for R&D and QA including Database creation, administration, configuration, space management, user management and troubleshooting.
• Sybase ASE administration from ASE15.0 to 16, installation, configuration, database creation, user management, space management for all the R&D and QA environment.
