• Coding as per requirement, handling all type of Testing (UNIT Testing, SIT & UAT) and Implementation in Production by following all the steps of SDLC. Responsible to modify the impacted programs whenever required.
• Coordinating with onsite manager/Client for updating the status as well as for issue tracking.
• Participating in Implementation task like Creating Packages, Creating Schedule elements and so on.
• Job Monitoring and Schedule Verification and Prioritize jobs when schedule is late.
• Actively involved in knowledge management activities like providing training and Knowledge Transfer (KT) to fresher’s.
• Apart from roles assigned to me, I have prepared process related documents to circulate among the team.
• Enhancement of existing code
I have written code from scratch for MI application. Analyzing the existing code to find the problematic areas and do testing before moving to production.

• Analyzing and Resolving the Service Requests(SR):
First analyzing the Requirement given by Onsite for any issues and clarification. Once the requirement is clear then doing coding (following all coding guidelines and standards) for both batch and CICS programs & analyzing the existing code to find the problematic areas and testing.


• Production Support and Maintenance:
Handling the On calls for production support which involves fixing of Production batch Abend. Preparing test cases for testing the fixed problem. This activity includes RCA of the Abend, setting up test data to test the fixed problem, setting up the test environment, test JCL's and finally after getting Sig-off from Client , moving the fixed components to Production.
