Polish National Telecom company set up a daughter company – Marketplanet. This was a B2B company offering internet trade between large companies. Recruited to introduce TP S.A. as a first major client of Marketplanet. Planned yearly turnover to be facilitated by Marketplanet was at a level of $50 million. Responsible for a team of IT and sales specialists developing both technical and business processes for a huge purchases organization in TP S.A.
• Assumed position of Project Manager of an Enterprise Purchases Project (EPP) managing teams of IT and sales individuals
• Managed system development and implemented it in 3 major companies of Polish Telecom (approx. 5 thousand users)
• Managed training effort for end users
• System implementation enabled purchase savings of over $5 million per year

Recruited by Ernst&Young Consulting to join newly (1 year old) set up company. Established and managed enterprise-wide IT department working in a multi-site environment. Oversaw company efforts to identify and evaluate all critical systems. Developed a contingency plan addressing Y2K problems. Collaborated with external auditors to conduct compliance audits, presenting all results to General Management in Poland and France HQ. Designed and implemented data security procedures. Supervised a team of 3 system administrators. After reaching good market position (13% market share) French HQ decided to set up franchise as a standard in Europe (excluding France) and the company was sold.
• Created and managed IT department working in multi-site company. This included recruiting, responsibilities planning, training management and daily supervision activities.
• Instrumental in developing and implementing company site reduction plan and data integration (reduction from 10 to 3 locations)
• Created VPN network joining 3 company sites
• Developed contingency plan for Y2K that has been set a corporate standard for all global Yoplait operations.

Recruited to join newly created IT team working solely on support of P&G sales and distribution operations which considered both working closely with internal Sales Team as well as 10 external distribution companies (Regional Distributors – RD) as well as a key account (Metro Group). Oversaw sales and profit reporting tools, RD’s corporate management systems, created IT platform standards, unified information exchange systems, developed and implemented sales supporting systems. Cooperated with other country organizations from the EMEA region. Developed and facilitated training for respective system users. Supervised daily activities of 3 system analysts, technical assistant and appx. 20 IT individuals from RD’s organizations.
• Developed and implemented portable system solution for van selling operation enabling sales growth by 40%
• Developed and implemented portable system solution for pre-selling format establishing standard for global Procter & Gamble pre-selling operations. Now used in 40+ countries
• Managed EDI (electronic data interchange) project for Metro key accounts
