From Jan. 2016 to Feb. 2017: VA/VE Leader: Organize and lead meetings, brainstorming across all different departments to find new ideas.
Collect all ideas and classify them in our excel sheet to calculate the cost saving after 1year, 2 year and for life time.
Evaluate each idea for the technical feasibility and develop with the testing department. The pre-validation should be done before implementation in the serial production. Cross calculation saving /validation cost, to find out the top 15 ideas. Present our management each idea for validation / application. Start the technical validation with our testing department and supplier and follow up the budget. All idea however was not introduced in the VA/VE process , but was followed and recommended as a cost saving design, during the team design review.

From Jan. 2015 to Jan. 2016: Responsible for the Platform BL-OS2, definition of the new platform strategy for china, design review, matching study and brainstorming. I calculate with our purchasing department about the cost and classify the technical solution according to the requirements. Develop new idea and depose two patents how to fix the cable harness directly to the guide rail and how to fix without screwing the wind deflector net to the bow. Takeover from the pre-development team, the new mechanism Novum III. Develop with the global team, Chinese, German and Japanese the new global mechanism Novum III and help to introduce it in our D2UC project. Support the local designer to finalize the drawings to get the feasibility from the Chinese supplier.

From Sep. 2013 to Jan. 2015: I got the task to create as leader for the inner sliding roof system with the mechanic Fam. 1 and 3 a CAD Templates. This template is a parametric Model of how it can be adjusted in the length, the width and the roof shape quite quickly, he include also several standard solution as per example DFM and options whether the designer can choice to include it or not in the design. To create this parametric design I got the support from our head quarter in Germany and I lead a small team of 2 designers in China and 2 designers in Japan. I created also a document to help our designers to use it afterwards.
