- Manage from ground up a new implementation of SAP solutions (ERP, BI, HCM, GTS, Portal) to replace BPCS ERP system (AS/400) and other legacy solutions.
- Design and setup of the global SAP architecture and infrastructure.
- Support several projects during whole lifecycle, including core solution and several international roll-outs
- Install the SAP ERP Dev, QA, Pre-Prod and Prod systems in clustering environment, including preparation and execution of Disaster Recovery tests
- Develop & own SAP transport and client strategy (including associated procedures) and SAPGUI roll-out strategy.
- Installation of Solution Manager 7.x landscape (and further upgrades), IDES ERP and BI systems based on NW 7.x + SAP Best Practices for Chemicals (including latest version based on ERP EhP3)
- Manage transports, client copies, etc. while preserving production environment’ integrity, availability and performance. Lead initiatives to clean up system inconsistencies.
- Define and implement the maintenance strategy (upgrades, release, patches for kernel, DB, SAPGUI, middleware)
- Ensure coordination with business contacts and other project managers.
- Team development - Enhance know how, documentation and procedures; skills and knowledge transfer.
- Mentoring junior colleagues.

- Operate the overall SAP systems landscapes (ERP, GTS, BW, HCM, Portal, Solution Manager) and related middleware in an ITIL and CMMI level 3 for Services context. Level-3 support.
- Configuration of the SAPGUI SSO (systems, users, Citrix) for Netweaver ABAP systems using Kerberos.
- Setting SAP systems and user's security parameters for login, password complexity, rules and expiration in line with company standard security (in fact SAP possibilities to enforce are higher than on Windows).
- Advise SAP Security team for best practices of SAP user’s identification and authentication - configuration for SSO and Time Zones
- Configuration on SSO for Web pages (ex. Solution Manager for Incident Management, Change Request Management, etc.) with SAML 2.0 Identity Providers like SAP Identity Management (installed on SAP Portal in 2013) and then migration to Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) (in 2017).
- Setup of SAP ERP Web pages SSO with SAML 2.0 of MS ADFS in 2017.
- Security reviews and enforcing the security of the SAP landscapes; usage of ONAPSIS X1 tool
- Upgrade of GTS landscape to GTS 11 / Netweaver 7.5
- Install GTS 10 (electronic customs declarations in Switzerland - E-Dec), including setup in a separate landscape
- Installation of a new HCM landscape including the upgrade to Enhancement Package 4. New upgrade to EhP 5.
- Installation of an HR Portal landscape (Netweaver 7.30)
- Installation of EH&S related middleware (Expert Rule Server, OCC Server, WWI Server, IHS Compliance Engine, Content Server based on SAP MaxDB) + migration to Win 2008 R2 Servers
- Migration of several SAP systems landscapes from Win 2003 / SQL 2005 to Win 2008 R2 / SQL 2008 R2
- Management of LRS VPSX Output Management System
- Manage systems with SAP LVM (SAP Landscape Management (LaMa))
- Databases compression for the ERP and BI landscapes
- Manage the BO DataServices landscape
- Several upgrades of the SAP landscapes (see also PM section)
- Regular system copies in all landscapes, automation for the ERP sys with Libelle System Copy
