In addition to working with PeopleTools, other topics such as a basic understanding of Relational Databases, PeopleSoft Internet Architecture, PeopleSoft\'s methodology of transporting newly created applications to the Web were covered. The PeopleTools II course was an advanced look at a set of interactive tools used to develop and implement custom applications for the Internet. Support of day to day production issues as well as fixing the Integration test and production bugs. Coded the migration process of fixed and mobile numbers by adding an additional digit and modified related PeopleCode affected scripts. Analyzed and coded the case handling and emailing functionality using SMTP in order to send emails with or without attachments to customers based on a case configuration scheme. Coded an Application Engine using the Component Interface calls to create a modification order based on MSISDN, Instance product id , product and Attributes codes sent by the customer via an excel file. Coded the interface between the CRM application and PPS using synchronous XML messaging process. Added packages, products and attributes to the product catalog. Created new catalogs for specific set of users. Supported the stages of the order process. Created, using SQR, the customer contract to be loaded in PDF file. Analyzed and coded an application engine that executes periodically to determine, based on a time configuration, whether the orders are stuck for a certain period of time. If so then notifications are sent to a predefined set of users. Coded the process of accessing the bills and the details of calls from Peoplesoft to an external application via a dblink based on the customer, bill number and/or telephone numbers and display it accordingly on Peoplesoft screens. Designed and coded the maintenance by administrators of products and services offered by O2 for business customers. Assisted in Genion 3G implementation project. Added new templates for fax, email and SMS during UMTS option change. Assisted in creating an interface (CLUE) to locate a customer (business or residential) in three different applications (Cactus, Salcus and FSS) based on different search criteria using the Integration Broker and Application messaging. Created the original and transformed XML messages sent by CLUE to XSITE. Added the code to read the messages sent back from XSITE to CLUE once the resulted search is successful. Created and supported a mechanism to migrate Cactus Peoplesoft 8.46.08 to FSS PeopleSoft 8.9 by request from the PeopleSoft migration database. Evaluated existing queries and improved performance. Assisted in implementing the Genion 3G tariffs and zoning process. Created, from the backend, Customer, Account and activation orders based on requests from PartOS external application using the Application Messaging process.

Salcus: Designed and implemented the process to provide order related data to the GDF (General Data Facility) interface.
Designed and implemented a solution to enable Portal users to navigate and submit orders off-line whenever Salcus database is not available.
Designed (using Visio) a mini replica database, built and implemented it to be used for Portal (For internet customers). Created Unix output files that contain extracted data from Vantive using Oracle9i UTL functionality to be FTPed to an external system for case updates. Worked on rewriting reporting tools and loaded the reports into excel spreadsheet. Designed, built and coded the interface to the network via the Salcus system (Vantive to Clarify database). Via a public link, Vantive and Clarify were connected to link multiple existing cases in Vantive to one ticket to the network in order for the Network to take action towards fixing related problems. Cases from Vantive can be unlinked or re-linked to existing network cases. Created Unix output files that contain extracted data from Vantive using Oracle9i UTL to be emailed via Oracle procedures to the user submitting the request.
Designed and implemented an automated process between O2 and Telefonica to handle DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) trouble ticketing. Assisted in the O2 DSL design and implementation.
Analyzed and documented product and package related information from Vantive and Arbor BP point of View for the purpose of preparing for a data migration from Vantive to PeopleSoft CRM. Created a mechanism to migrate Salcus to PeopleSoft by request from PeopleSoft migration database.
Involved in re-writing existing Oracle9i PL/SQL procedures as a part of restructuring the code for ease of maintenance and better performance. Rewrote all stored procedures related to Corridor plans. Ongoing Vantive application and user support.

Created users and form privileges in Vantive tools. Set up the Vantive survey to use by the customer. Altered and created tables and views.
