I am currently working as an Informatica developer. I have also gained experience in the use & maintenance of the Informatica Unix command set to run workflows etc. I have worked both as a Developer and Production Support Analyst. As a developer, I have both designed and written mappings, performed Unit tests, set up the System Test environments, generate test cases, Regression test where needed and support User Acceptance Testing. In my production support capacity, I have picked up trouble tickets of varying priorities and followed them through to resolution. Depending on the SLA, these trouble tickets were either resolved using the full life cycle approach – or in some cases, for emergency fixes, very close contact with the business and the other technical teams was maintained to be able to resolve the issue in the given time,but maintain the quality and integrity of the code and data at the same time. I have also run and monitored loads – which sometimes need overnight monitoring, escalation and resolution as needed.
