Leading the Programme Solution Delivery work stream which consists of Release, Change, Test and Infrastructure management (team size 15, based both onshore and offshore) on a key Programme to optimise the bank’s IT landscape by introducing a new CRM system. Defining and establishing flexible delivery model by promoting agile culture and development practices for digital IT solution development and expediting the speed to market. Managing the development, build, test, release and IT solution to support the needs of the customer.

Key Accomplishments:
• Successfully applied Agile Scrum and DevOps practices, by identifying the gaps in the current programme delivery and setting up release and deployment process to expedite the time to Go-live. Reduced the number of production incidents by 40% by putting in place quality gates and closely working with technical teams to ensure they are met.
• Motivating teams to work collaboratively towards a common goal by organising daily stand ups and empowering teams to proactively look for solutions and align with the goals of the Programme. Promoting strong collaboration and ensuring alignment between application teams, IT, operations and business functions including external vendors involved in the software delivery lifecycle.
• Managing all Production release executions for the bank (2-3 per month) and co-ordinating all deployment activities with technical teams to ensure a successful execution. Creating and documenting the Go-Live Criteria for production releases and chairing the Go/No-Go meetings to review acceptance criteria are met.
• Recognised for the outstanding contribution to the Programme within 3 months of joining and rewarded with incentive based recognition which is very rare for an organisation of this size.

Release Delivery Lead - Security Process Optimization: Owing and managing the delivery of
releases for a business critical security monitoring application called Splunk. Leading the
development, build, system testing, security and penetration testing, user testing, release and
business continuity for all changes. Ensuring all internal and external change requests are created for
approval within the tight scrum timescales and tracking any dependencies and issues to a successful
conclusion.
