Leading the offshore activity:-
Seat Packaging Study with Seat Architecture Approach.
- Airbag Packaging
- Isofix Packaging
- Belt Buckle Study and packaging
- Head restraint packaging(1st row and 2nd row)
- Top-Tether logo position and Carpet modification
- Seat cushion length adjustment packaging(SCLA)
- Pretensioner packaging
- Bolster support plate defining and designing
- Horn support plate defining and designing Packaging the new concept within given limiting
surfaces.
Doing tolerance study for packaging feasibility.
Providing proposal surfaces to BMW styling department by considering technical limitation with
tooling consideration.
Designing seating component or get it done by other resources with tooling consideration.
Creating concepts to solve problems within the project.
Making coordination between India and Germany team.
Managing Complete seat BOM.
Managing product as per BOM.
Doing regulation (ECE 17,21 and 14) studies and creating proposals to design the surfaces within
regulation.
Updating project engineer about the right data.
Creating presentation for the concepts.
Ensure to complete the tasks comes in my perimeter before project management system particular
stage pass.
Discussing clashes available in product with project engineer.

Safety mechanism for front crash.(France Team):-
- Did the brain storming to generate the idea for the safety mechanism in case of front crash.
- Created the decision matrix on the various design factor and selecting the optimised mechanism.
- Designed the whole mechanism from the concept and packaged in the seat.
- Did the calculation for the Gear ratio and other needed to design the mechanism
- Doing the review with France innovation project engineer and implementing the changes
Seat ventilation system (China Team):-
- Studied the reference project from costing, parts, and packaging point of view, Created new Concept as
per project requirement.
- Packaged the different part of the seat ventilation system and designed the new parts require to package
the concept.
- Thought of the equal distribution of the air coming from the fan for uniform thermal comfort.
- Communicating with the china counter part explaining the concept and implementing the discussed
changes.
- Did Brain storming with the India team for the solution for the blocking points.
- Part of the patent team filled by Faurecia for the seat ventilation system.
Motion sickness System(China Team):-
- Packaged the whole concept with china team regarding to reduce the motion sickness.
- Studied the light behaviour required for the project.
- Discovered different mechanism to package the mechanism in less space with stability.
- Created the prototypes and tried the concept.
- Worked with the A-surface design engineer to define the style of the product which will be feasible
from technical requirement.
- Used KeyShot for product rendering(Very Basic rendering and Animation)
General activities:-
- Collaboration with Design School for the project “Seat for Autonomous Vehicle for India”
- Handling the intern for discovering future material for the seat

CATIA

Responsible to manage the 2nd row product, parts received from different supplier integrating in
the main product checking their proximity and managing in the PDM.
Did the ECE-R17 study for the 2nd row headrest and suggested the notch change required to
achieve the minimum HR height as per regulation.
Did the tolerance change study for the latch plastic cover.
Check the possibility to cover the metal rust (result of climate chamber testing) by latch plastic
modification.
Did the isofix wire study and positioned the isofix child seat and created limiting surfaces for the
BMW design team.
Studied the isofix assembly problem and modified the 2nd row cushion wireframe, did the
prototype drawings for prototype shop to build wire frame prototype.
Did complete seat activity like complete seat drawing, ECE template study, Architecture synthesis
drawing, clash analysis report.
Worked on the belt bracket visibility issue after user wear the belt, modified the cushion wire
frame for more stability of the outer bolster area considering ingress egress and meat to metal
consideration.
Created Architecture synthesis drawing and kinematics for the product.
