Working on Feasibility, New Build and Configuration tasks.
Provide the solutions to the clients about the new backup solution architecture.
Part of Design and implementation core team, under we provide the end-to-end backup solution to the new added Vodafone customers to backup.
Having a good knowledge about NetWorker 18x & 9x of Policies, Workflow, Groups, Action, Clients and their working structure.
Good exposure to pre-requisites when migrating to NW 18x or 9x.
Hands-on experience on migration of the backup server from 18.104.22.168 to 9.2.
Have done the upgradation to 18.2 from 9.2.
Good understanding of the NW 18x/9.x technical changes and visual changes compared to NW 8.x.
Installation and configuration of NetWorker Server, Storage Node, Client setup and Database Modules on Windows & UNIX Servers.
Jukebox configuration, device creation (physical, dd & ddboot) and working issue related to it.
Having a good understanding and configuration skills on SAP-HANA backup integration.
Setup Oracle, SAP and SQL database backups and dealing issues related to them.
Implementation of Data Domain VTL, CIFS, NFS and DDboost, Creating jukebox, pools, tapes on the dd.
Add/remove, import/export, move the tapes activity on data domain.
Performing cleaning process on data domain and also upgradation of data domain.
Being senior resource – documenting the KT sessions and preparing KB docs of the env.
Conducts the training sessions, KT to the new joiners in the team about the NetWorker technical knowledge and environment knowledge.
Being part of a Consecutive Failure owner where any host fails 3 consec would reach us to handle.
Good experience of handling the Backup server to have a smooth backups run and scheduling the backup according to the business needs, SLA etc.
Good experience of handling the issues related to backup server’s save group, media db and resource db of the backup server.
EMC DataDomain, EMC NetWorker
