Development and Python programming of Spectrolight 600
The development includes:
• The complete machine consists of Spectrolight 600, Tunnel and Hotel and
python3.0x programming of its components.
• Python3.0x programming of various components of Spectrolight 600 i.e.
Camera, Motorcontrol, Main, DLS, Parameter, Autopilot, LIMS, Changeplate,
Curved Display, Dlsutil, Viscosity, Version, Spectrocrystal etc.
• Analysing the behaviour of the program with the machine
• Conversion of python 2.0 programming to python 3.0
• Hotel and overview of its slots which are occupied and free using DCClient.
• Configurable hotel overview with user assigned value of towers, levels in a
tower and transfer area. Transfer area is reserved for plates to taken out
shortly.
• User enters values in configuration file which automatically read by program
and shows in Spectrocrystal software.
Program measures automatically the gap between each slot and
introduces it and fits it completely to a tower having assigned slots.
• Hotel shows occupied and unoccupied slots. Occupied slots are coloured
with various colours.
• Occupied slots shows the colours informing user about various jobs
which are running, pending jobs, expired jobs more than standard
seven days and slots which are older than 30 days would be coloured
as green, black, yellow and red respectively.
• Various events upon right and left click. Upon left click, it shows completes
details of a clicked slot i.e. slot number, plate name, barcode, creation date,
pending jobs etc.
• Upon right click by user, it selects the slots. Then user clicks “Move selected
slots to transfer area”, it moves automatically the selected slots to transfer
area. If selected slots are greater than number of slots available in transfer
area, it creates a loop, move the bunch of limited slots one by one to transfer
area, user goes to hotel, takes slots out, then the next slots moves
automatically to transfer area and the process continues till all selected slots
are emptied.
• When user wants to remain the selected slots for a specific time in transfer
area they can do so by assigning specific time and after that time, take that
out so the next selected slots will be moved to transfer area.
• Developing communication between the hotel and simulator
• Barcode creation and assigning all date to barcode. Barcode assigned to
specific plate reserved for specified time in hotel.
• Barcode generation and printing upon user request.
