SingRing OnLine Karaoke Platform
SingRing is a platform for the digital entertainment in the music field, based on a lyrics database, vocal tracks and instrumental synchronized bases with all their applications that allow the free use of rights, the publication, distribution and fruition of lyrics and songs (as a sort of Karaoke) on several media like the Web, the IPTV, the Mobile, the TV or the DVDs. SingRing is a sophisticate open platform containing over one million lyrics. Every music publisher wanting to increase the value of his/her publishing rights can count on this Europes number one platform.
The idea of this project was to develop Online Karaoke Platform with possibilities to play, sing, record and merge users voice with karaoke music. The platform is both social and entertainment platform that allows user to search the largest database of legal lyrics with an emphasis on Italian repertoire. This platform was developed in such way to support transcoding, encoding and merging recorded video material to MP4 (H.264 codec) and it also allows registered users to vote and comment recorded video. It has already become a substantial to third business parties through web services which SingRing offers to other portals in Italy. By now we had projects together with Fiat, Disney and Radio101. Average number of unique hits on the site is between 45,000 to 60,000 in an hour. Revenue share calculation and reporting is implemented to all music majors involved in SingRing project. SingRIng is SEO optimized Web platform.
