In my function of leading a team responsible for building, maintaining and
operational management of a data centre environment, I got to know [...] as a highly
motivated and professional person. His willingness and ability to tackle complex
problems added a high value to my team.
Vodafone is operating in an international environment, especially the group services
in Düsseldorf. [...] adjusted rapidly and worked closely together with the other team
members. He provided technical expertise and guidance to the team regarding all
monitoring topics, adding value beyond expectations. Within a short timeframe he
took the lead of the team on the technical aspects of monitoring and participated on
meetings with our customers. The internal team members as well as the external ones
speak highly of [...] as a person and his knowledge.
The additional task given to him concerning networking was accepted with such an
ambition that I have no doubt the results would have exceeded expectations.
I worked with [...] from 01 April 2010 01 April 2011, and during this timeframe
he provided the team with a data centre dashboard on performance, capacity and
monitoring which enhanced the reliability of our data centres. This dashboard enabled
the team to reach a 99.99% uptime in a production and 99.98% uptime in a
Test/Development datacentre.
