I am

a graduate in electronic engineering, I am 43 years old and since the end of september 2013 I became a freelance. Before I worked in the company GTS of Terlizzi (Ba), Italy. GTS is a Siemens partner company for the sector Automation and Drives, that cover all south Italy, for which I provide specialized technical assistance for end customer, phone support (Siemens hotline) , commissioning and training (Sitrain) on the Siemens Automation & Drive products.

The chance to work exclusively for Siemens was realized as a result of experience gained in the Italian branch of the German company Emag Holding, a global leader in CNC machine tools, for which I worked for about 4 years as analyst, designer for the development, installation, testing, commissioning and servicing of electrical plan, PLC-NC software on CNC machines.

The ability to treat different aspects of the machine tool is gained through the first work experience lived in a small company operating primarily in the service sector of automatic and CNC machines, in which I could develop independently and completely (electrical plan, wiring , sw, installation, manuals) small projects of automatic stations.
At Zeta Emag I was in charge of hardware and software designing of vertical turning and grinding centers, following in person for each job assigned to me the stages of pre-project, hw design, electrical parts list generation, designing and commissioning plc-nc sw, setting-up and installation at the end customer. A thorough knowledge of the installed machines asked me, in case of some critical issues, such as preferential interlocutor to the customer for service activities on the field or by phone.
I don’t speak German but all machines that I started-up had PLC/NC symbols in German language, so I know all the electrical/mechanical words in German for a machine tool.
Among the various orders in which I actively collaborated and to which I attach some importance there is the turnkey supply of 8 brake discs lines (27 vertical turning machines with automatic transport units system) at the factory Brembo in Poland and a duo Turning center for the manufacturing of common rail pumps with adjoining a boring station and a portal to transport pieces for a total of 19 axes installed at factory Bosch Diesel Technologies of Bari.

For this and many other customers I have been able to refine my knowledge of customizing machine tools, tool load monitoring systems, piece measurement systems, graphic pages of supervision, etc..

In Italy this is a difficult working time and I have little chances to put in practise my professional skills, so I’m allowed to bring to your kind attention my resume after reading your job vacancies. I don't speak German but I have many years of experience on handling without problems projects written in German language.
