Relevant Business Experience:
Junior consultant with first experience in performance management, activities in merger & acquisitions, know-how in the areas of process optimization, reorganization and restructuring as well as in the development of innovative strategies. Communicative team player with a strong hands-on attitude.
Acted as consultant for performance management at one of the global leaders in a niche market for electrical equipment operating in Western Europe, US and Asia. The production site includes more than 500 people (incl. significant share of temps). Acted as team member in an order-to-cash optimization project. Initial situation: low time on delivery, significant gaps between offered design and final produced design, high rate of failures including high amount of rework. Conduct status analysis of order-to-cash processes, brown paper analysis, red clouds preparation and valuation of facts and figures and identification of recommendations such as operating in small project teams, replacement of some suppliers, elaboration of key performance indicators, etc. Responsible for the installation and execution of a daily war room (critical daily update meeting) with the division managers.
Implemented a customized MOS-system (management operating system), incl. KPI tree, roles and responsibilities as well as leadership improvement. Training / coaching of middle and lower management‚ on the job‘ regarding different topics such as in-time-production, quality, technical sales, etc. Supported installation of a 8 months improvement program and reached reduction of the order-to-cash cycle from 8 to 6 weeks (6 m EUR working capital improvement (one-off effect), 2 m EUR p.a. sustainable EBITDA effect).
Acted as M&A consultant at a luxury watch company, based in the Netherlands. Responsible for the creation and validation of different business plans – management case scenario, conservative case scenario, worst case scenario, etc. Prepared due diligence buy-side for the potential management holding. Participated on site visits and first meetings for performance management approaches in order to improve the business plans. Preparation and lecture of presentations for the potential management holding and the target company.
Implemented a customized database by using partially available resources for about 2-3 month. Developed easy database query as a client management tool which can be used by all employees. Improvement of the internal communication. Training of all employees by processing complaints independently and in a timely manner by all employees.
