E2E TD-SCDMA:
It’s a Qualcomm project. TD-SCDMA is a TDD variant of UMTS – CDMA, mainly used in countries like China. E2E (end to end) project includes scripting and validating testcases for this technology which checks the peer messages between UE and Network. Testcases are scripted using TTCN-2 language and peer messages are written as per specifications and Abstract Syntax Notation files. These testcases are then validated on Network Simulator (Anritsu and Starpoint) and Qualcomm reference mobile phones. The validation can be manual or automated on the system simulator. There is a adaptation layer which sits in between TTCN and system simulator.
I was awarded with ‘Outstanding Performer’ twice in consecutive quarters.

Responsibilities:
Scripting testcases for different modules like multiple PDP, fast dormancy, OCNS, state transitions, multi RAB reconfigurations, Handovers etc in TTCN
Developing the core framework and coding the Adaptation Layer lying between TTCN and SS in C language.
Developing test scripts for different chipsets such as DSDS, DSDA, SGLTE etc.
Debugging logs in case of testcase failures.
Validation of tescases on Starpoint and Anritsu (SS).
Unit testing, Stability testing, regression testing.

XMM6230:
XMM6230 platform is the mobile software provided by IMC (Intel Mobile communications) for its various Mobile Manufacturer Clients. It is fully responsible to give support to NAS layer for GSM/GPRS/UMTS for all of its clients. This project also incorporates the fixes in the main line of the platform.

Responsibilities:
Analysing logs by referring to 3GPP specifications and IMC specific FSpecs
Working on the logs and finding the root cause of the bug and its dependency on other modules and components
Providing a fix for the problem which rectifies the problem without disturbing the other components
Doing integration and unit testing on the fix
Getting the customer reviews and accommodate changes at the earliest if required
