I am currently a freelance Journalist with nearly a decade of experience in the field, covering everything from travel writing to television journalism and translation services.

Though my background is in Marketing Communications, I am currently a freelance Journalist with nearly a decade of experience in the field, covering everything from travel writing to television journalism and translation services. After a brief hiatus I am anxious to return to the workplace and am determined to make a valuable contribution to whatever organization I join.

My current work with the Herzogenaurach-based Herzo.TV has allowed me to expand my journalism skill set, expanding my knowledge in creative planning, storyboard and text creation, camera work, and the editing process.

Furthermore, my time at Siemens Energy - where I worked in Communications, Purchasing, and the Steam Turbine product line in both the U.S. and Germany - provided me with an proficient knowledge of global business culture.

Lastly, extensive travels and life abroad - from Australia and South Africa to America,The Netherlands, and the Middle East - have taught me to quickly adapt to any given environment.

Versed in all elements of the TV-Journalism creative process. Storyboard creation, interviews, voice overs (in English and German), camera work, and final editing of the project (using Edius and Final Cut Pro).

Some experience in travel writing. I've posted some clips on mediabistro.com/LizKraft - including stories for Business Traveler, associatedcontent.com, newsvine.com, and bootsnall.com. My Blog also includes a great deal of travel writing.

Lastly, I've done some translation work over the years, such as the Integration Charter for the City of Erlangen.
