I have a BA in Communication and Cultural Sciences - Cultural and Arts Management - during which I've completed a two year internship, while studying in post-labor regime. This year I'm completing another specialization of the possible three in my BA, Applied Communication (Marketing, Advertisement and Public Relations) while deciding if and which MA I'll sign up for.
During this internship experience, as a personal assistant for the coordinator of the Translation Office (Grupo Lusófona) and the Lusophone Institute of Support to Research and Development (ILIND http://investigacao.ulusofona.pt/) I had a chance to: acquire personal assistant skills, develop briefings and newsletters both in Portuguese and English for ILIND, as well as manage online content through platforms such as Joomla. I also had the opportunity to acquire knowledge when it comes to managing tasks, to deepen my external and internal communication skills, to improve my translation techniques and to enhance my research methodologies to discover the best financing and collaborating opportunities within scientific research. To add to the already full list of responsibilities I've taken so far, there is my weekend unpaid internship in which I've practiced endless times writing, reviewing and translating online articles for Concierge Etc. Finally, throughout the last month of July, I've had the opportunity to volunteer in collaboration with a project of artistic photography, entitled ARCHIVO (http://photoarchivo.org/ARCHIVOzine), for which I was hired as a translator and reviser, as you may confirm through the provided link.
