Joined the project to carry out inspections under DIN standards, as this was the contract requirement, however was involved in establishing the relationship between DIN(EN) and ASME so as to be able to respect DIN(EN) standards under ASME inspectorate. Carried out QC surveys in subcontractors fabrication yards for steel structure and piping. Incoming material inspections and the writing of ITPs for the ongoing erection works.During this period I under took courses and examinations for level 2 ASME in VT, PT,MT,UT,& RT to supplement those already gained under the DIN standards.

2/2012 – 4/2013

During construction I was required to cover all aspects of welding from welder approval in conjunction with third party, prefabrication controls of fit ups and assurance of correct WPS filler wires etc. Post weld NDT was reviewed and carried out. NDT coordination of x-ray requirements to achieve the line and welder require coverage, through to caring out full line system checks following the hydro-testing and equipment re-instatement as a requirement of the handover procedures of erection works to commissioning.

9/2010 – 11/2011

supervisor and team leader on boiler service works.This was for several large boiler and superheater rehabilitation, repairs, shut-down and bottlenecks (ASME piping, wall sections, supports) on different projects in Sweden and Germany under TUV certification for company Slovwelding, s.r.o.
Controlled a team comprising of welders, fitters and fabricators, provided them with the detailed information from the isometrics for being able to produce prefabrications and erection of piping and support section require for the repair of the boilers. Carried out PT on inter-pass welding and plate welds, called for final x-ray inspection and produced the final red marked line sketches with all NDT information.
