• Shared responsibility for the day to day running of Switzerland’s largest English-language monthly news magazine.
• Responsible for the planning of each issue (number of pages, page allocations and budget)
• Commissioned and edited copy for all editorial and advertorial content
• Worked with photographers, journalists and newswire providers to source images and graphics to accompany content.
• Translated German-language advertorials and press releases.
• Proofed and approved final layouts using Quark.
• Responsible for writing the monthly news column and editorial, as well as regularly contributing features, interviews and reportage articles on a wide range of topics – from travel and leisure to business and politics.
• Regularly attend fixtures and events to promote readership and advertising.
