• Provide backups for ERP systems running on HPUX, AIX, SLES and Windows, using HP Data Protector.
• DB’s used : Oracle and SAPDB.
• Provide backup specifications depending on OS, DB used and size of SAP system (between 20 GB and +/- 8TB).
• Write scripts to automate the complete process as much as possible, since it is a very large environment.
• The environment consists of 2 datacenters with a large number of hosts. The data protector environment has 6 Cell Managers and 2 MoMs.
• Write technical documentation.

Back up / Recovery

• HPUX +AIX + SLES + Red Hat System Admin.
• 2nd level support on Windows (Server and Client, different versions).
• AIX System Admin, LPAR definition and changes, IBM hardware maintenance.
• Migration of applications from HPUX to AIX. Focus on this activity from 12/2011 onwards. VIOS setup and maintenance. LPAR setup via HMC.
• AIX Release 6.1
• Hardware : IBM Bladecenter PS700 and and P720 Power.
• Nim server setup and maintenance.
• Experience with VMWare (User level).
