FREELANCER (M/F) CONFERENCE MANAGEMENT – CONTENT PRODUCTION FOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS FESTIVAL

You enjoy taking ownership and transforming an idea into an international event by delivering great content and an engaging user experience? In 2018, we will initiate a new business festival on executive level with the credo „Transform your board, yourself and your business“ over three days with a conference program, work­shops, group discussions, networking areas, board-group retreats, music and art exhibitions. Position description
Take end-to-end responsibility for the project management (conception, or­ga­ni­sa­tion, quality assurance, and super­vi­sion) of our business festival
Identify relevant, timely, as well as trending topics and secure speakers, special guests, and/or entertainment for the event
Plan and execute all marketing activities on- and offline in cooperation with the marketing department (brochures, flyers, mailings, websites, social media)
Manage project financials, including monitoring the budget, expenses and billing process
Report project milestone status and provide regular updates to all involved stakeholders

Your experience & skills
Professional experience in the (content-related) project management of con­fer­ences/congresses/summits (content, marketing, speaker outreach, and so on)
Strong sense of ownership and re­spon­sibil­ity: You are able to effectively multi­task and prioritise under high pressure and in a performance-driven environment
Rigorous in organisation and man­age­ment, conscientious and adept at solving issues at all project levels
Independent, reliable, and extremely diligent way of working, combined with high quality standards
Strong communication skills and ability to adjust them to situations and people
A proven record in event marketing, from the creation of required assets and materials to online and offline event marketing campaigns is a plus
An existing network of speakers and contacts is a plus
Active, outgoing, creative, engaging, and dynamic team player
International mindset with excellent communication skills in English (CEFR level C2), both orally and in writing - additional languages, such as German, are a plus
Eligibility to work in Germany and willing­ness to relocate to Berlin is a must
