In 2019 the client implemented a supplier portal based on SLP ARIBA solution. The Ariba SLP is the primary collaboration platform to engage with suppliers. It enables suppliers and the client to move away from the paper-based exchange of qualification-related documents and participate in the sourcing events.
Aim of this project: Onboarding suppliers to the SLP ARIBA.
Planned start and end date: May 2020 until March 2021.
* Coordinate the qualification requirement with category managers, risk departments and work with suppliers in UK, Germany, Sweden and Benelux - an exact task will be to select the correct qualification form in the ARIBA system and send it to supplier. All forms and requirements are available in the system and standard
* Consult in improvement of supplier onboarding process based on SLP ARIBA solution - if additional need for specific requirements will occur, consultant will provide information to process owner
* Execution of supplier qualification in SLP (Supplier Lifecycle and Performance) ARIBA - supplier is invited in the system to provide answers based on the standard questionnaire. Then the consultant check if all the information provided and validate it. Consultant perform standard compliance check in the system. In necessary consultant contact supplier and advise with registration. When supplier needs to be qualified, consultant sends from the system additional questionnaires and approves them based on the standard approval process configure in the system
* Registration and qualification of suppliers on ARIBA SLP (Supplier Lifecycle and Performance) portal
* Supplier compliance assessment based on the standard process - the consultant will get the information about the standard process in the system and available trainings and guidance
* Monitoring and managing supplier statuses in ARIBA SLP - consultant checks the supplier status in the system. If supplier is not answering, consultant contact supplier and category management
* Active interaction with suppliers, category managers and risk departments on the ongoing supplier registrations through calls, emails and advise if supplier do not provide a feedback in time
* Coordination with the process owner about solving possible technical issues, creating descriptions of possible issues - if the process owner (PO) will have technical issues consultant can solve the issue or involve SAP. Consultant has to inform the PO and describe observations. At the same time a number of standard issues can be solved independently by consultant based on the provided guidance
* Contribution to the weekly meeting with supplier management process owner - meeting about progress, problems and solutions
The consultant provide the services independently
* Fluent in English AND German
* first procurement experience
* user knowledge of SAP Ariba
* Excellent communication skills
* Result and goal oriented
