Architect - Expert

Senior DevOps Engineer / Automation and Operations Implementation of automation in the cloud environment
Design, setup and operation of an infrastructure in a modern cloud environment, both hands-on and advice for the customer.
• Construction and operation of a Kafka environment on Kubernetes / OpenShift
• Deployment and operation of microservices on Openshift
• Configuration and administration of topics
• Performance analysis and optimization
• Set up comprehensive monitoring for business-critical use
• Identity and access management in the Kafka area
• Construction and configuration of a Kubernetes cluster / Red Hat Openshift cluster
• Construction and configuration of a service mesh
• Deployment of provided deliveries (Container D, Docker, etc.)
• Support in the transformation of a classic operating model into a DevOps model

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The candidate should have a very strong operational focus. I.e. primary software developers are not suitable.
Skills
• Optional: In-depth knowledge of the operation and configuration of Kafka
• In-depth knowledge of application operations on Unix / Linux and / or Windows
• In-depth knowledge of automation with Jenkins and / or Gitlab Runner (gitlab ci)
• Experience and knowledge in the area of virtualized systems and containerized applications
• Basic knowledge of the system and network architecture
• Basic knowledge of SQL databases
• Establishment of secure and scalable API infrastructures based on microservices, including Openshift, Kubernetes
• Basic experience and knowledge in the operation of web application servers (basic knowledge of JSON, SOAP desirable)
• Willingness to work in both the classic and the DevOps operating model
