Dieses Protokoll bestimmt, wie Besucher (mit ihrem Browser) und Webserver im World Wide Web miteinander kommunizieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Innerhalb des Protokolls sendet ein Besucher eine Anfrage an einen Webserver. Die Anfrage wird \u00fcber die IP-Adresse des Servers gesendet. Dank des DNS-Systems muss diese Adresse dem Benutzer nicht bekannt sein und Websites k\u00f6nnen durch Domainnamen identifiziert werden. Die Anfrage enth\u00e4lt Informationen \u00fcber die Adresse, welche der Besucher anfordern m\u00f6chte. Dar\u00fcber hinaus werden weitere technische Informationen des Benutzers mit Hilfe von Cookies gesendet.
