Das Versprechen kann beispielsweise beinhalten, dass die Quelle unerkannt bleibt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auch, wenn sie nicht ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden k\u00f6nnen, sind \u201coff the record\u201d- Informationen f\u00fcr die Medien oft interessant. Beispielsweise lassen die Informationen oftmals eine neue Sichtweise auf Sachverhalte oder Fakten zu, \u00fcber die wiederum berichtet werden kann. Oder ein Tipp kann Anlass f\u00fcr Journalisten sein, in einem Sachgebiet weiter zu recherchieren. Mit dem Informanten kann unter anderem vereinbart werden, in welcher Zeitung oder auf welcher Website die Inhalte als erstes ver\u00f6ffentlicht werden d\u00fcrfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Quelle kann verschiedenste Motiven haben. Ein m\u00f6gliches Motiv kann in dem Bed\u00fcrfnis bestehen, einen ungekl\u00e4rten Sachverhalt zu beantworten.
