Am 2. Mai er\u00f6ffnete die Internet-Konferenz re:publica<\/a> die Berlin Web Week. Ich war diesmal auch mit dabei, unter anderem wegen der co:funding 12, die als Subkonferenz parallel zur re:publica stattfand. Auf der co:funding drehte sich alles um die Themen Crowdfunding und Crowdinvestment, also um die Finanzierung von Projekten durch Beteiligung von Vielen, von der Crowd.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Insbesondere Projekte aus dem Kreativsektor setzen zunehmend auf diese neue Art der Finanzierung. Anstatt nur einen oder zwei Geldgeber zu haben, die mehrere Tausend oder Zehntausend Euro investieren, wird ein Projekt \u00fcber eine Community finanziert, deren Mitglieder jeweils Zehn oder Hundert Euro geben und so das Projekt gemeinsam mitfinanzieren.<\/p>\n

Es gibt mittlerweile verschiedene national und international agierende Plattformen, \u00fcber die Projektideen gepitcht und Communities aufgebaut werden k\u00f6nnen. Zu den bekanntesten unter ihnen z\u00e4hlen Kickstarter, Indiegogo, Seedmatch und Startnext, um nur einige zu nennen. Im Detail gibt es zwischen all diesen Plattformen zum Teil deutliche Unterschiede, z.B. in der Art und Weise wie dort Zahlungen get\u00e4tigt und welche Projekte akzeptiert werden, weshalb ein genauer Blick auf die Leistungen und AGB wichtig ist. Detailfragen sollten unbedingt mit den Ansprechpartnern der Plattformen vorab gekl\u00e4rt werden, bevor man anf\u00e4ngt, sich anzumelden und seine Projektidee vorzustellen.<\/p>\n

Sehr interessant waren die Forschungsergebnisse, die im Rahmen einer Studie der TU Ilmenau entstanden waren. Demnach z\u00e4hlen u.a. diese Aspekte zu den wichtigsten Faktoren, die erfolgreich crowdfinanzierte Projekte auszeichnen:<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Projektbeschreibung muss klar und verst\u00e4ndlich sein
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0ansprechende Projektdarstellung auf der Crowdfunding-Plattform
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0gut gemachtes Video, das die Idee und das Team vorstellt
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0realistisches und angemessenes Zielbudget, das erreicht werden soll<\/p>\n

Ebenfalls wurde untersucht, welche Gegenleistung die Crowd f\u00fcr ihre finanzielle Investition in Projekte am ehesten erwartet. Ganz oben rangierte dabei das fertige Produkt. Wer bereit ist, in die Herstellung eines Produkts zu investieren, dessen gr\u00f6\u00dfter Wunsch ist es meist auch, das fertige Produkt am Ende in den H\u00e4nden halten zu k\u00f6nnen, gerne auch als erster, also noch bevor es auf den Massenmarkt kommt.<\/p>\n

Weitere Gegenleistungen, die genannt wurden, die aber deutlich weniger interessant zu sein scheinen, sind: das Projektteam kennenlernen, eine namentliche Nennung als Investor, eigenes Feedback in das Produkt einflie\u00dfen lassen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Im Rahmen der Studie wurden auch die Motivationen von Crowdinvestoren untersucht: warum investiert ihr Kleinbetr\u00e4ge in Projekte, die euch interessieren? Dabei standen folgende Motivationen ganz oben:<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Idealismus (“weil es eine unterst\u00fctzenswerte Idee ist”)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Unterhaltung (“weil es mir Spa\u00df macht”)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Zugeh\u00f6rigkeit (“weil ich mit dabei sein will”)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Empathie (“weil ich mich dem Team nahe f\u00fchle und es unterst\u00fctzen will”)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Neugier (“weil ich mal was Neues ausprobieren m\u00f6chte”)<\/p>\n
