Country Deployment Lead for UK, UAE & Russia - Played a key role in the ‘sunset’ of country specific legacy applications & adopt the global common platform (Eclipse) for multiple investment & Banking Products within Citibank

Successful migration and deployment of common platform (Eclipse) for multiple Investment Bank products

Products managed: Account Opening and Maintenance, AML / KYC, Sanctions Screening, Brokerage & Mutual Fund Processing, Payments Processing, Settlement Processing, Time Deposit, Forex Buy/Sell, Margin / Leverage Lending

Led the Business Requirements gathering, analysis and preparation of BRD, followed by discussion and sourcing of approvals from all key stakeholders

Requirements Gathering: Performed In-depth analysis of Country / Regional requirements, product offerings, regulatory requirements, downstream/upstream system impact etc and factored the same into business requirements for the common platform (Eclipse). Reviewed Best in Class technology used by other financial institutions for similar products to improve the firms competitive advantage

Documentation: Ensured timely and appropriate documentation relating to the project including functional requirements documents, process flows, process documents, test plans, acceptance criteria and test scenarios

Testing: Led and coordinated all Testing phase and Data Conversion Activity for UAT / PAT / DR including managing business execution of testing, defects management & co-ordination with Technology to ensure smooth delivery of product in production environment

End to end management of test scripts for SIT, UAT & PAT in HP Quality Center including review and approval of Test Design/Execution/Test Closure activities

Ensured effective post implementation review to ensure lessons learnt were factored into future rollouts

Operations Management
Managed team of 80+ staff supporting various processes namely Investment Account Opening, Securities Brokerage & Mutual Fund Processing, Payments Processing, Settlement Processing for UK, UAE & Russia.

Innovation: Successfully led process redesign reviews & workflow analysis to achieve optimization and reduce TAT. Improved Straight-Through Processing and reduced manual touch-points for the investment products deployed via Six Sigma, Lean and Robotics Process Automation (RPA)

Functional Manager for 120+ staff in global teams during the country deployments

Responsible for managing operations units that supported testing and production support for the products covered as part of country deployment

Migrated existing legacy systems to the new Infrastructure with NIL impact to customer and business as per SLA

Training: Implemented training sessions for staff to deal with change management, up skilling them on a timely basis with new application / changes to existing systems, preparation of navigational training material on the functionality

Implemented Quality Assurance model for the team to ensure high levels of service delivery
