Delivered a state-of-the-art, AWS-native, cloud-based financial services platform from zero to one, taking it from concept to live market launch in June 2024. The platform featured a secure, direct API-based integration with the SWIFT payment network for automated sanction screening in cross-border payments, boosting compliance efficiency, reducing risk, and increasing processing speed.
Reported directly to the CPO, owning product strategy, roadmap delivery, and full product lifecycle management. Mobilised UK and nearshore engineering teams created lean business cases, customer journey maps, product backlogs, and release roadmaps, and built cross-functional agile teams running under SAFe.
Partnered with investors, clients, and industry stakeholders to prioritise the feature catalogue and ensure product market fit under the principle “by the industry, for the industry.” Led product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver high-value features designed to maximise ROI and convert opportunities in the sales pipeline.
Alongside the product delivery, built organisational scale and resilience by achieving ISO 27001 certification, embedding ITIL-aligned operational processes (incident, problem, and change management), and implementing enterprise tooling (SAP, HR Cezanne, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, SonarQube, M365, Azure etc.). Transitioned from a consultancy-heavy model to an insourced delivery approach, reducing operational costs and building internal capability. Conducted FinOps initiatives to optimise AWS cloud spend, using native AWS services to ensure performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Provided technology and IT leadership across EMEA and LATAM, driving strategic change and aligning engineering capabilities with business goals. Led a comprehensive transformation agenda, accelerating delivery through DevSecOps, cloud migration, micro-services architecture, containerisation, and end-to-end automation.
Defined and executed the strategic roadmap for SAFe adoption across a critical portfolio of platforms, including payments gateway, authorisation, terminal support, clearing, settlement, invoicing, data lake, and digital portals ensuring scalability, resilience, and innovation.
Designed and implemented target operating models (TOMs) for each platform, applying modern delivery principles, funnel management, and optimised operational practices. Partnered closely with the CTO, CPO, and engineering leaders to secure alignment, promote adoption of SAFe methodologies, and deliver measurable improvements in speed, quality, and business value.

Accountable for the quality of technical delivery in a large-scale transformation to build a scalable payment platform for SMEs across the DACH region. Operated in a private equity-backed merger of three entities, creating a unified market proposition from a greenfield environment.
Reported to the C-Suite, managing a €3–5M annual budget and leading 100+ FTE across Germany, Croatia, and India.
Drove feature-based teams to deliver the product to market and embed processes to reduce time-to-market, embed quality standards, and implement a CI/CD pipeline with automated testing. Delivering a platform to market within 18 months, including Salesforce digital onboarding (reducing customer onboarding from two weeks to 30 minutes), SAP integration, and a real-time data lake for operational and financial reporting. Led vendor transitions, optimised infrastructure delivery, and implemented ITIL-aligned processes to accelerate release cadence and strengthen change control.
