The theoretical colloquiums focused primarily on film history and theory, the revolutionary third and fourth cinema movements, the decolonisation of film and media, the importance of anti-exploitative/anti-neo-colonialist media, sociology, as well as ethnomethodology, queer film theory, scientific (film) research, documentative (analogue) photography and film festival management.
