My expertise and responsibility in finance cover accounting/audit (UGB, IFRS), finance/treasury (with different types of financing instruments), tax (especially international topics/transfer pricing), risk management, budgeting, and production and sales controlling (incl. management reporting). I consider myself especially knowledgeable on implementing proper management reporting (done multiple times) and proper analysis (=controlling) paired with support for decision making, as this was quite always the main issue.

Regarding industries I gained experience in globally acting production and service companies in medtech (AVITUM), building materials (ACO), Logistics (HELOGICSTICS) and Software (New Frontier, Davaso, red-stars), having worked in CEE, US, LATAM and Asia.

Additionally, I was able to gain vast experience in M&A (running projects globally from identification of targets to post-merger-integration) and was responsible for other departments, eg. IT, HR, Legal.

Enjoying innovation I act a driver of digital transformation and like to contribute experience due to my industry background (esp. Software/IT) and successfully managed transformation projects.

As member of the management board in the holding and subsidiaries (most of the companies in the past were family owned) I act as “sparring partner” to the colleagues on all strategic topics.

As a person, I describe myself a strong entrepreneur due to my self-motivation, standing for high quality of work, strong hands-on mentality, very good communication and cooperation skills, as well as a strong target orientation. It is easy for me to gain trust and I like to work in a multinational and multicultural environment, where I can use my social skills. I am used to substantial travelling, as I prefer to be close to the teams.

On leadership, I am proud about my achievements of developing CFOs to CEOs, as my leadership style is fostering people and to develop a business-oriented finance organization.

I strongly believe that due to my professional and personal experience and skills I am able to contribute to the success of your client and to help mastering any challenges and aims of digital transformation, even when it is about considering changing the business model.
