Responsible for North America projects in terms of customer quality, as well as alignment of internal quality standards and goals. Contact person together with Project Manager to the customer from development phase until series production.
• Responsible for PPAP agreements and presenting PPAP documentation to the customer
• Defining necessary product validation during ramp up phase
• Monitor product life cycle of the product line and ensure all development stages are planned and completed successfully
• Control and release of defined manufacturing process flow acc, to specification
• Release of production line including parameter setting of equipment according to specification
• Control assembly line/production equipment for quality checks and controls if all are functioning (Responsibility for plants in Mexico and Czech)
• Control if operators are trained according to training plan
• Release of logistic concept to ensure quality of parts
• Review the consideration and awareness of lessons learned from previous projects
• Organize and plan customer Run at Rate in production plants in Mexico and Czech
• Ensure capacity planning according to customer requirement during R@R
• Ensure capacity replication at Continental suppliers
• Prepare, plan and support production plants for audits
• Conduct problem solving within the project (problem solving tools, 8D)
