Über mich

Since the beginning of my professional career at leading research institutes and market leaders in automotive and industrial systems, the successful application of microprocessors for processing process and measurement data under real-time conditions has been a recurring theme in my CV, complemented by thermodynamics, RF technology and EMC testing. As an automotive quality manager, I oversaw the entire product life cycle, from specifications and sample quantities to large-scale production.

Weitere Kenntnisse

I offer many years of experience in software development, testing and deployment on Linux, MacOS and Windows systems, programming languages (C, C++, Fortran, Go, Pascal, Perl, Python, Ruby and Shell-Script), whereby learning further programming languages is no problem for me. I am familiar with data structuring using markup, e.g. as XML, HTML or JSON.
I am also experienced in the use of networks and fieldbuses such as CAN, Ethernet or LON forautomotive and industrial control systems.
Through hardware and software development of embedded controllers based on 8bit and 32bit MCUs for real-time applications, systems and DSP, I have extensive expertise on various processor families, especially ARM, AVR, PIC, 680xx and Z80 as well as the standard PC platform.
I have expertise in version control systems such as git, not least because I am a fan of the open source idea and have initiated numerous community projects and supported many others through software development work, see my GitHub repository at -Hyperlink entfernt-
A compact semester at Robert Bosch College imparted theoretical knowledge in thermodynamics and combustion engine technology, which is rounded off by my practical experience in car and motorcycle maintenance and restoration.
I am certified as DGQ quality representative, internal auditor and six sigma black belt.
