Designed and built Bayanat, the open-source data management platform SJAC uses to document human rights violations, also deployed at partner organisations including UNDP. I still own architecture, security and infrastructure.
Full-text search over millions of records with sub-second response; granular permission and workflow system with revision history.
Import and export pipelines for CSV, Excel and external sources; multilingual in Arabic, English and Ukrainian.
Encrypted point-in-time database backups and a signed auto-update pipeline with rollback.
Recognised with a US State Department Internet Freedom Award in 2019.
