All work on the VPT environment of NSR. (NSR is Dutch Railways Travelers)

This includes daily checks; customize scripts, entering new procedures and tools. Here a lot of experience with HP Service Manager and HPSM as helpdesk/registration package.
To bring down the use of paper, I have developed software that ensures that documents are not printed, but emailed to the appropriate customer, as a PDF document. An important condition was that the existing application could not be changed. Also, the control procedures developed previously by me imported here and further improved. On all VPT systems are continuous monitors on system parts. For example, the presence of background processes, system resources etc. The surveillance and control scripts always use mail to send messages to the administrator so that he/she knows what is happening on the system.
I have a Web interface for some administration features. It is also possible to have a number of tasks by the help desk or a functional manager to run through this Web interface. The Web interface uses the existing control and monitoring scripts. The use of the Web interface makes Customizing settings in the surveillance easier, but it is still possible to use standard tooling. With the Web interface it is easier and less errors.
The Department of management also has the account over about 400 work stations, spread across the country. This requires a separate domain that I maintain. Because the warranty period of most workplaces has expired, these were mostly repaired by me and the other administrators. In a team of three people I have Windows PC’s furnished and installed. Supporting the end users and the functional administrators takes up most of the time.
Along with a functional manager I have developed a lot of tools for the functional managers.
To better understand the work of a functional manager, I worked a few months as functional manager.
The integration of various types of workstations, PC, Tablet and phone, is very important.
I am heavily involved in the transition from physical systems to virtual environments.
