Architecture and Enhancement of eSIM Push Workflows, Device Management, and CPQ Integration

Task(s): Requirements analysis, coordination of cross-system integration (Salesforce, Cactus), design of delayed activation and batch provisioning workflows, architecture refinement, stakeholder workshops, documentation of acceptance criteria, support for UI/UX adaptations across platforms, alignment of provisioning logic, Salesforce technical consultation and stakeholder advisory, external vendor collaboration and quality assurance, workstream leadership, Salesforce component configuration

Description: In this cross-functional enhancement initiative at Telefonica Germany, M. H. was responsible for the architectural planning and design of multiple enhancements in the eSim provisioning landscape, including the delayed push notification workflow, eSIM profile linking/unlinking, batch SIM swaps, and mobile device metadata management.

His work focused on ensuring seamless end-to-end alignment between Salesforce (Heracles), eCare, Cactus, and external systems like SIMS and Discovery Servers.

M. defined the functional and technical specifications, conducted architectural assessments for scalable implementation, and led the coordination between business, development, and cybersecurity teams as well as Solution Architecture, IT Security, platform owners, and vendor management.

He provided expert consultation to internal stakeholders on optimal Salesforce Sales and Service utilization while managing close collaboration with external consulting partners, ensuring content quality and technical alignment of their contributions.

M. led individual workstreams within the project framework and performed Level 2 and 3 Salesforce component configuration.

Key contributions included extending the Salesforce GUI for delayed activation dates, implementing a unified eSIM push workflow, enabling manual and bulk data processing, and enhancing the Mobile Asset Manager to support both MDM and non-MDM use cases.
