Technical and management role in an e-commerce startup (fairness-as-a-service) building a direct, transparent tipping channel from consumer to garment worker.

Technologies: Especially Node.js, Typescript, SQL, Redis, OAuth, React.js

Responsibilities: Building a scalable microservice infrastructure, creating a safe payment channel to distribute tips worldwide, leading a team of developers and designers.

Built:
- management-tool (web-app) for tip me interns, customers and beneficiaries (i.e. garment workers from vietnam)
- e-commerce shop-plugins for Shopify, Lightspeed, Shopware, Magento, WooCommerce and Co.
- tip distribution services connected with global payment-providers

About tip me:
tip me is direct, transparent tipping from consumer to workers. With the newest technologies, we improve living wages. At tip me, we build a global tipping system, which can easily be integrated into any e-commerce shop with just 12 lines of code. While shopping in our fair partner-shops, consumers can now add a tip to their shopping-cart to support the producers who made the products worldwide. tip me distributes the tips at 100 % to the producers via mobile money.
