The last 10 years I have been active in research mostly in astrophysics, using analytical and numerical skills but also employing techniques like genetic algorithms, image reconstruction algorithms, parallel programming for HPC (FORTRAN & c++), and analysis of huge astrophysical (and numerical) data using Python. Through the years I have developed strong mathematical abilities. I am very enthusiastic for working in an inspiring field as is machine learning and AI. I had leading roles in the past, from being the chief scientific assistant of a European network (COST-action) and by leading a research group at the university of Athens. I am eager to learn more on new technologies and put all my efforts in developing new algorithms that will eventually impact everyone’s life.
