Hi there! :)

I am a UX/UI designer with a background in languages and translation.
In my varied working experience, I had the chance to learn the importance of user experience early and to develop strong problem-solving skills.
Before switching to UX, I worked in different sectors: as a barista, as a front desk executive in hotels, as a hostess traveling around Germany to various fairs, as an Italian language teacher, and I also helped reduce the spread of SARS- CoV during the pandemic by working at different test centers in Berlin.

All these experiences made me connect to a variety of people, and helped me develop strong empathic skills which I feel help me a lot nowadays.

My studies in languages helped me understand how text is an integral part of creating impactful consumer experiences, both offline and online, and its important value in creating the overall story together with symbols, imagery, and colors.
Having worked as a language trainer, I was well aware of the importance of adapting content to my audience, in order to enable them to reach their best outcomes.
As someone who has worked in hospitality, I was a bridge between customers and business and developed my empathic skills to understand and manage queries from both sides.

My interest in the educational role played by digital media was the catalyst that made me switch to UX, where I want to use my skills to have a positive impact on people's lives.
What I love about UX is that it makes people's life easier, and I am glad I took on this journey.
