Market Research, Gap Analysis, and Risk Analysis for emerging technologies leading to strategic investment in go-to-market products and services, internal upskilling, and recruitment strategy.

Used a data mesh approach to develop an architecture to aggregate 20 disparate data scources from on-premise, cloud storage, and edge sources to enable data analytics to feed insights to R&D, Sales, Engineering, and Marketing. A key focus was put on cost, security, and reliability

I was the technical account lead for one of our major accounts with a leading automotive company. This role was focused on client relationship building, as well as supporting our teams on a technical level as well as a well-being level. I was responsible for project budgeting, forecasting, burn downs, project health, and overall project delivery and success, as well as project discovery, requirements gathering, proposal writing, pitching, estimations, and contract negotiation

Acted as a role model for cultural change within the client organisation leading to several new projects starting within the areas of innovation and emerging technologies

Developed onboarding materials and ran onboarding sessions for all projects and people in the account, enabling the teams to start with a core understanding of the client environments, contact peoples, and procedures

Facilitated conflict escalation that resulted in several major issues being resolved to everyones satisfaction without requiering further escalation

Facilitated creation of OKR's which ensured that the account and all the projects were focused on the right goals and in line with the national and global company OKR's

Supported 30 people across 6 cross functional teams of developers, designers, and data scientists as a cloud architect. This built trust with our teams and the client leading to project investments in the hundreds of millions of euros

I was lead developer for a multi-year multi-million euro project for a leading automotive company.
The core technology stack was React and Typescript on the front end, GraphQL for the front end API layer, REST for the backend API layer, NodeJs for the core backend services, and Clojure for some of the additional microservices used to load Java data analytics libraries. Testing was done with Jest and Cypress, and the entire system was deployed using Docker and Openshift (RedHat K8s).

As the primary technical contact for the client I built a trusting and open relationship that lead to continued investment at the project level, and increased investment resulting in several new projects

Caoched a developer in the team for six months leading to her taking over my role as I moved out of the project

Configured Jira to fit our exact project requirements in a cross functional team, with multiple boards and multiple board types, across three horizons of delivery (sprints, short term, long term) enabling a complex project team and process to work efficently in Jira

Developed the core backend system based on the Hexagonal paradigm and a microservice architecture which decoupled services enabling best testing practices to be applied. This resulted in confidence for the system, as well as a significant reduction in development time for features added years after the initial project had started

Implemented a message queue microservice using rabbit-mq enabling event driven processing

Lead the team in task discovery, documentation, and estimation, enabling the junior developers to feel ownership for the sprint, gain hands on experience, and progress in their roles

Wrote and deployed docker files used in conjunction with Openshift for CI/CD, testing, deployment, and system management
