Having played an instrumental role in the platform's development, I was entrusted with the accountability for the GraphQL platform of New Work SE, and:
- Improved ownership, clarity of vision and execution by developing the product vision for the GraphQL platform and implementing an agile development process with our team that used data-based and organizational feedback
- Ensured fitness for purpose and continued organizational adoption by prioritizing work and managing stakeholders for the critical platform—New Work's standard for backend/frontend communication, serving such high-traffic products as XING, and integrated by 52 engineering teams
- Guided the organization in successful integration with the GraphQL platform in other projects and consulted on software architecture in the early phase of a key project
- Helped our team to level up by sharing knowledge through mentoring, documentation and onboarding of new colleagues

4/2018 – 8/2020

I played an instrumental role in development of New Work SE’s GraphQL platform:
- Enabled self-service API integration by co-designing and implementing a GraphQL schema-based DSL
- Enabled new usage patterns by inventing and proving a highly efficient GraphQL query validation algorithm that was recognized in the GraphQL community and adopted by multiple open-source GraphQL servers
- Facilitated the internal rollout of the platform to 52 teams by training developers, guiding and collaborating on the integration with the platform

6/2017 – 3/2018

Helped a team at New Work SE to launch their first Scala project, a GraphQL API platform. I reduced the risk by executing load and stress tests and eliminated bugs before launch. Through a thorough project code review and enhancing the architecture, I helped setup the project for long-term success.
